Come join us every Wednesday at 7:00pm in a journey to “Spiritual Wholeness and Wellness.” Our weekly Spiritual Development classes create engaging dialogue about the Bible, Christianity and other belief systems. We are focusing on “Proofing our Ground,” which looks at our grounding for our belief choices and systems.
During The Month of April - “The Bible and Me!”
Are you using the Bible as a tool? Do you find it hard to understand the Bible? What about the Bible is a turnoff for you? Join us as we redefine the “use” of the Bible, offer practical ways to “make the best” of the Bible, and engage your questions and concerns.
During The Month of May and June - “What About the Family?”
Interactive and engaging sessions are being designed to address many of the concerns/struggles we have with families as members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer identified community. What do you do if you were once married with children, and now have a same-gender loving partner? How do you build relationship between your children and your partner? What does the partner do when they are not considered a parent? Do they have a voice? How do you deal with closed minds, and unwilling attitudes of family members regarding your sexual orientation, sexual expression and/or sexual behavior? These are only some of the concerns we need to address in order to build healthy and loving relationships with our partners, children, parents, siblings and extended families. Join us! We are excited to hear what has worked for you and what we all can do to improve.
